Jakarta Outdoor LED Rotation System Permanent Installation · Urban Roadside · Jakarta, Indonesia
Project Overview |
A permanent 10-panel LED rotation display installed at a high-traffic intersection in Jakarta — one of the city's most exposed public-facing locations. Each panel rotates independently on a vertical axis, sequenced to produce a continuous piano-key wave across the full facade. |
The Technical Demand |
With only 8 mm of clearance between adjacent panels, there is no margin for calibration error. At that gap, positional drift is visible — to every commuter, every cycle, every day. Each axis also carries a 160 kg structural load, making precision a mechanical requirement, not just a programming target. |
System Deployed |
YZDITEC supplied motorised vertical-axis rotation units, each independently addressable and synchronised through the Black Warrior control platform. Angular position feedback maintains each axis within ±1° of its programmed target throughout continuous operation.
Key Specifications Panels: 10 × independent vertical-axis rotation units Panel gap: 8 mm Structural load: 160 kg per axis Angular precision: ±1° Motion sequence: Piano-key wave, full-façade Installation type: Permanent outdoor, roadside

Outcome |
The system operates continuously at one of Jakarta's busiest intersections. At 8 mm gaps, ±1° is not the performance claim — it is the minimum acceptable working standard. |
