Project: 2026 Chongqing International Animation Film Week Broadcast: CCTV6 — Live, Opening Ceremony to Closing Ceremony

Scope: Full-run broadcast stage automation — control system, servo hoist fleet, kinetic LED rigging

1. Overview

For the 2026 Chongqing International Animation Film Week, broadcast live nationwide on CCTV6, YZDITEC supplied and operated the complete stage automation system for the entire show — opening ceremony through closing, with no margin for error. The brief: choreograph a multi-ton aerial LED and lighting rig in real time, on camera, with broadcast-grade reliability.

2. The Challenge

Live broadcast removes the safety net of a second take. The production required a ring-format LED screen and lighting truss in simultaneous vertical travel, 30° tilt, and dynamic yaw — synchronized with a 22 m straight LED wall, dual curved LED screens, and a motorized screen winder — all running on a single broadcast timeline. Any motion error would air live, to a national audience.

3. The YZDITEC Solution

  • Every motion cue built, reviewed, and director-approved in 3D pre-visualization before rehearsal
  • Offline timeline/table-based cue programming for full creative control

  • Real-time control at single-axis or full-group level for synchronized kinetic staging
  • Logged operation history and traceable alarms for fast diagnostics

  • 53 units deployed: 39 × 500 kg + 14 × 1,000 kg
  • Absolute encoder servo drives and motors — millimetre-level positioning accuracy
  • Power-loss position memory — no re-homing required after restart
  • EtherCAT ring topology for real-time, zero-latency feedback
  • Dual-brake, four-point limit switch safety configuration
  • Ultra-quiet operation, broadcast-microphone safe

4. Project at a Glance

5. The Result

What aired on CCTV6 was a 1:1 replication of the pre-visualized model — every cue ran exactly as programmed across the full opening-to-closing broadcast.
